Local Pastor's Licensing School
All of the directors and instructors at Licensing school are United Methodist Clergy. Advance registration and payment of fees is required, the deadline is May 7, 2013. After your completed registration is received, you will receive more detailed information such as a schedule, map, etc.
Who should attend?
Certified candidates for Licensed and Ordained Ministry who will be appointed to serve a local church. (The Book of Discipline 2008, Paragraphs 310-319.)
Where and when?
The school is held at Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO from May 19-25, 2013, and ends by noon on the last day. Upon arrival, people will check in to receive room assignments at 4 p.m., students will be assigned to double occupancy rooms. Three meals will be served each full day.
Cost of Licensing School
The cost is $450 per student which covers room, meals, and printed materials relevant to class work. It does not cover textbook costs. Financial assistance is available for Missouri candidates from the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. Assistance may also be available from your District Committee on Ministry or from your local church.

Make checks payable to: Missouri Annual Conference. Mail your check with the registration form POSTMARKED no later than May 7, 2013. Cancellation after May 13, for any reason, will result in forfeiture of $100 of your registration money.
You must enclose with your registration form: the amount which will NOT be paid by financial assistance. It will be your responsibility to check with the designated person of the team, board, or committee who will provide your assistance and make certain they have either sent that amount to the Licensing School Registrar or have sent official notification of said assistance. Only people whose registrations are complete will be admitted to the Licensing School.
