Congregational Excellence
The Office of Congregational Excellence is responsible for five areas of ministry:
- Established Church Congregational Transformation
- New Church Development
- Healthy Church Initiative
- Urban Renewal
- Hispanic Ministries
Connectional Ministries
The Office of Connectional Ministries is responsible for Camping & Retreat Ministries, Central Methodist University, Youth Council, Communications Commission, Safe Sanctuaries, Conference Staff and Congregational Ministries Team.
Mission, Service and Justice Ministries
The Office of Mission, Service and Justice Ministries seeks to resource congregations for ministry that grows out of four Missouri Conference teams.
The four teams are the Values Team, the Social Justice Team, the Mozambique Initiative Team and the Creative Ministries Team. The purpose of the Office is to lead congregations to strengthen their mission, service and justice ministries in order to lead people to actively follow Jesus Christ.
Pastoral Excellence
The Office of Pastoral Excellence is responsible for enhancing pastoral effectiveness through continuing education events, peer learning, coaching, and training. Our goal is to support transformative leadership processes for clergy and provide options designed to equip and develop pastors to lead congregational growth.
Treasurer and Financial Ministries
The Office of Treasurer and Financial Ministries is serves through organizing and coordinating the financial resources of the Missouri Annual Conference.
Youth and College Ministries
The Office of Youth and College Ministries works with local churches to coordinate conference and training events for youth and adults. This office is also responsible for Conference Council on Youth Ministries and Missouri College Connection.
