Disaster Response

During the the flood of 1993 OCM staff and other groups joined together to form a faith-based network for recovery assistance to flood-affected families – the Interfaith Disaster Response Network. Volunteers are needed and can help through the Office of Creative Ministries in the following ways:

Nurture the core of the Network for activation in the case of future disasters within the state
Offer information and consultation on disaster planning and preparedness for churches, districts, and the conference
Represent United Methodists and Interfaith Disaster Response in Missouri disaster planning
